Adam Mick, MSPT
Adam joined our Rocklin Physical Therapy family in 2017. He utilizes the vast experience and knowledge he has gained while practicing for nearly 20 years to provide mentoring to our therapists as well as treatment to our patients. Adam was interested in many facets of the medical field, but ultimately chose to specialize in physical therapy because he enjoys staying with his patients through the entire healing journey. He is passionate about health and fitness stating that one’s nutrition and lifestyle choices impact the healing and wellness of the individual. Adam particularly enjoys treating individuals suffering from back, shoulder, and knee injuries. His extensive background gives him the ability to clearly explain and demonstrate what is behind a person’s particular condition and develop a custom plan for healing.
Adam has been married for 20 years to the love of his life, Danielle. They have two wonderful kids in which he is strongly engaged in their passions of volleyball and music. His daughter is excelling on a competitive volleyball team that takes them all over the US. His son enjoys playing golf and all aspects of music from composing to playing bass clarinet.
Adam also has an enthusiasm for team sports. He played rugby for the University of Nevada and coached the women’s team. He continues to maintain and foster the relationships and great friendships he developed from that experience. As a member of the US Rugby Foundation, he has participated in philanthropic efforts that aid in the development of youth sports. Okay – so that really means he was a poker tournament champion, but hey, it was for a good cause!
Adam is known around the clinic for his Aloha Friday shirts, as he has consistently worn a Hawaiian shirt every Friday for nearly 15 years. Retiring in Hawaii has been a dream for him and his wife.
