Jacob Reynoso, DPT
Jacob came to Rocklin Physical Therapy as an intern for his doctorate program at the University of St. Augustine in early 2020. His eagerness to learn, compassion to treat, and willingness to exceed expectations were apparent throughout his internship by staff and patients alike. We were excited when Jacob joined our RPT family shortly after graduation. His patients are frequently vocal about Jacob’s ability to set them at ease by listening to their concerns and explaining the body mechanics of why they are doing their individualized treatment plan. Jacob has a big heart for his patients stating, “I have been in a vulnerable position like many of my patients. I want to be the person my patients can trust to get better.”
Jacob treats all musculoskeletal patients with a variety of conditions including back and knee pain, but he has a particular interest in conditions of the shoulder. After playing baseball at the collegiate level, he has personal passion for the complexity of the shoulder. Jacob enjoys the exploratory process of determining the root cause of his patients’ condition in order to develop an effective, safe plan of care that not only relieves pain, but reduces the likelihood of the condition returning.
Jacob grew up in nearby Marysville with a strong family unit that unquestionably guides and supports each other. Plus, his grandma makes a great lemon pound cake!! He has fond memories of playing baseball and football as well as coaching his nieces and nephews in soccer and baseball. Unfortunately, Jacob does have a downside. He roots for the Oakland As. We know. We know. . .
