Troy Stogsdill, DPTTroy Stogsdill, DPT is a California licensed Physical Therapist who received his BA in exercise science at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego and his doctorate degree at Azusa Pacific University. He began his professional career at an assisted living facility in Southern California before joining Rocklin Physical Therapy in the Summer of 2019.
Troy has been a fantastic addition to our facility as he brings a wealth of knowledge to his patients, while delivering care in a compassionate manner. His constant smile and quick wit easily sets his patients at ease where they can begin their healing journey. Troy works with patients of all ages and activity levels from sedentary people to highly active populations on a variety of issues including pre-/post-surgical care, balance issues, orthopedic and sports injuries, and vestibular rehabilitation. He delivers care through continued patient education and a tailored treatment plan. He enjoys the opportunity to build rapport with his patients and watching them progress to do the activities they aspire to do. “I became a physical therapist because I wanted to spend enough individual time with my patients to make a difference in their lives,” states Troy. Troy has a passion for working out - Olympic weightlifting, power lifting, CrossFit, and just picking up heavy things (although we think that stems from his love for tacos) as well as outdoor sports such as hunting and fishing. He grew up in Elk Grove, and has been excited to show his beautiful new wife, Brittany, the area. They were married in 2017 and are eagerly waiting the arrival of their first baby. Unfortunately, Troy hasn’t had much luck in choosing a winning football team. Nevertheless, he is a faithful fan continuing to sport the Seahawks and USC gear. There is always next year . . . . |
